I am a 2010 honors graduate of Parsons The New School for Design with a Bachelor in Business Administration. My studies centered on utilizing design as a mechanism for understanding product development. In addition to my course work at Parsons, I was a visiting student at Columbia University where I studied Marketing in the Business School. As a Human Factors Specialist, I intend to play a key role in assembling the needed research that uncovers the insights that inform and inspire design and innovation in the real world.
Since graduation, I have been working as a Research Assistant for Parson’s School of Design Strategies under the tutelage of Professors Bruce Nussbaum and Benjamin Lee. My responsibilities have included curriculum development, academic course profiling, and market research analysis.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I was a member of the design team at the world headquarters of Abercrombie & Fitch in Columbus, Ohio 2008 to 2010. While studying at Parsons, I also held internship in the New York offices of Gucci, Balenciaga, Apple and Smart Design. Parenthetically, I developed my own jewelry line, ArielleHanna, and contracted with numerous boutique stores for display and distribution.
